History
Village Land Office has been serving the Bull Shoals - Lakeview area since 1967. The company was founded by Orville Mears, Jr. and Attorney, Roy E. Danuser. Now Owner-Broker-Realtor-Developer, Orville Mears, Jr. was born and raised in Bull Shoals. He has worked to promote the civic development and growth of the Bull Shoals - Lakeview area. He helped to bring about the dream of city water to the Town of Bull Shoals, a rural fire department to Fairview, the paving of the White River access road to White Hole and helped to obtain a public use access point on the White River at White Hole. He has been a part of the development and management of 19 subdivisions in Baxter and Marion Counties. Our developments meet or exceed county planning commission standards. Orville is currently working on Webb's Landing, an 820 acre development on Bull Shoals Lake, Fairview Lakeside Estates on Bull Shoals Lake, Round Mountain, a mountain top overlooking the beautiful Ozarks and Strawberry Fields near the Lake. Being a native of this area, Orville deeply appreciates the beauty and uniqueness of the area and its recreational opportunities.

Agents
Our family has over 84 years in the real estate and development business. We are committed to the Business of Real Estate. Orville's wife, Janice, joined the firm in 1971 and has been involved in office management, development, advertising and sales. Daughter, Wendy Stewart, holds an active real estate license. Daughter, Melissa, holds an inactive Arkansas real estate license. Son, Ashley,holds an inactive real estate license. All were raised in the real estate business and worked in the office as teenagers. All attend and support local churches.

Living on the White River, we all enjoy fishing in it's world famous trout waters. Summers are made for the Lake, with over 1,000 miles of shoreline, boating, fishing, skiing, diving, houseboating and sitting on the quiet waters in the evening watching the sunset over the Ozark Hills. God has truly blessed us with living in such a beautiful, serene part of the Ozarks.
